Hear CB/HAM Radio Through Vehicle Speakers Using Aftermarket Stereo with RCA Output to an RCA Amplified Input

Audio Interrupt for Auxilliary RCA Input SwitcherAI-AUX-RCA is an automatic priority switcher that switches an aftermarket car stereo's RCA auxiliary input from a portable music player such as an MP3 or ipod to GPS or 2-Way Radio voice.

The AI-AUX-RCA switcher has a single pair of RCA stereo output plugs that connects to the auxiliary RCA input jacks of an aftermarket car stereo or to an aftermarket amplifier, one 3.5mm stereo input plug that connects to an MP3 or ipod headphone output, and one 3.5mm mono input plug that connects to a GPS, 2Way-Radio or other radio receiving device having 3.5mm mono output socket.

How it works: When connected to the car stereo and the auxiliary input is turned on, audio from the MP3, ipod or smart phone is heard through the stereo speaker system. When audio becomes active on the GPS, Radar Detector, or 2-Way radio audio is automatically switched. Three seconds after the last voice message has been received it automatically returns back to MP3 input. The AI-AUX-RCA switcher is the size of a deck of cards with 12volt power and ground.

Built to last, a water proof potting compound is used on this product to encapsulate the circuitry and cable assembly that protects against temperature change, vibration, dust and accidental immersion in sea water. JIS8 rated, Designed and assembled in the USA.
